Day 0 Introduction

Hello friends, family, and random people who googled some combination of the words, "turkey," "diaries," and "cold"! Welcome! My name is Eliot and I am going to attempt a 30 day challenge inspired by the a original Cold Turkey Diaries by the Canadian, Adam Scott found here. I used Adam's list as base, but changed a few items to make it more tailored for my lifestyle (Internet Pornography was already on the list, I swear!). Now, another thing you may have noticed from Adam's site is that he used a big money incentive. In this case I'm going to be doing this Challenge with Albee so if I do fail I'll be letting my friend down. Checkout his blog here. Similarly to Adam Scott, I am purely interested in seeing what things I will miss from my life and can easily be cut out if I deem unworthy for my life. Here is the list of items I will be for going for 30 days. I have also added 2 items that I am committed to regularly completing. To make this sustainable I will be posting the following morning to make sure I got through the day honestly. *Many things I already do not consume a lot of, such as soda, cigars, and beer (just kidding about the beer), but it will be interesting to see how often they pop up. I do have some social commitments upcoming so I left on liquor - i'll be casually drinking vodka club soda's. Cold Turkey "No Good" List: 1. Hot Dogs 2. French Fries 3. Onion Rings 4.
